Access TeleCare has earned certified status from HITRUST for cybersecurity and information protection, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to safeguarding sensitive data across its telemedicine programs and digital infrastructure. The Access TeleCare Telemed IQ (TIQ) platform, Access Carts/Stations, and supporting infrastructure are HITRUST certified.
HITRUST Certification is recognized as one of the industry’s most rigorous standards for security and compliance. Achieving this certification confirms that Access TeleCare meets requirements defined by leading cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks and has the controls in place to protect data and manage risk effectively.
This certification is built on the HITRUST Assurance Program, which incorporates independent third-party testing, centralized quality assurance, and HITRUST’s Cyber Threat-Adaptive engine. Together, these components ensure Access TeleCare remains aligned with advancing threat intelligence and evolving standards across NIST, ISO, and OWASP. It is notable that the Access TeleCare team completed the certification with an outstanding score of 100% in all 18 security domains and had zero corrective action plans (CAPs) or remediation follow ups needed.
“As cyber threats increase, our partners expect credible, validated assurance and protections,” said Joshua DeTillio, CEO of Access TeleCare. “Achieving HITRUST Certification reinforces our ongoing commitment to protecting data, mitigating risk, and maintaining the trust of those we serve.”
“Earning HITRUST Certification demonstrates Access TeleCare’s commitment to managing information risk and protecting sensitive data through a rigorous, proven assurance process,” said Gregory Webb, CEO of HITRUST. “This achievement reflects the organization’s proactive approach to cybersecurity and trust.”
Access TeleCare’s certification underscores the company’s continued investment in secure, reliable virtual care infrastructure—and its mission to ensure hospitals and health systems can confidently extend specialty care through trusted telemedicine pathways.
