The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association will host an early career-focused webinar, “How to Develop a Successful Career in TeleStroke,” on Monday, June 8, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. CT.

The webinar will feature an invited panel of neurologists discussing career pathways, clinical opportunities, and the evolving role of teleStroke in modern stroke care. Access TeleCare’s vice chief of neurology Scott J. Mendelson, PhD, M.D. will join faculty from WashU Medicine and UTHealth Houston for the discussion.

TeleStroke has become an essential part of stroke systems of care, helping hospitals deliver timely neurologic expertise when minutes matter and achieve stroke certification and designation. For early career neurologists, the field offers a unique opportunity to combine acute clinical decision-making, technology-enabled care delivery, and meaningful impact across hospitals and communities.

Dr. Mendelson’s participation reflects Access TeleCare’s continued involvement in advancing teleStroke care and supporting the next generation of neurologists entering the field.

AHA/ASA members can register for the event here.
