According to data from the Health Resources and Service Administration, 60% of the areas in the United States that are designated as “medically underserved” are rural. In addition, nearly a quarter of rural Americans say access to good-quality hospitals and doctors is a challenge for their community. This is a common story among healthcare practices nationwide.
