Access TeleCare’s telemedicine programs bring communities across Texas closer to timely and expert specialty care.

Take Palo Pinto General Hospital for example. The rural hospital serves more than 30,000 residents and launched a telePulmonary and Critical Care program with Access TeleCare to meet the care needs of its community and care for more patients locally. In just a few months, the hospital achieved a 50 percent increase in its case mix index and a 30 percent increase in ICU volume, while also reducing outbound transfers of patients needing pulmonary care down to 5 percent from a high of 16 percent.

Palo Pinto’s success story and others like it will be on display during the 2024 TORCH Spring Conference, April 1-4 in Arlington. Our team will be on-site to connect with rural providers from across the state to highlight what is possible when communities partner with Access TeleCare.
