March 30 is Doctors’ Day, a day to celebrate and appreciate all our incredible physicians.
Doctors’ Day is an opportunity to acknowledge and thank our physicians who deliver excellent patient care through our telemedicine programs. And, it’s an opportunity to recognize doctors’ many medical advancements and their continuous efforts to improve modern health care.
Although not officially recognized as a holiday until 1990, Doctors’ Day has been celebrated every March 30 since 1933, the first anniversary of a doctor administering ether anesthesia. Important milestones like this highlight the vital role doctors play in caring for us and driving innovation.
Access TeleCare’s teleSpecialists, from neurologists and psychiatrists to hospitalists and infectious disease specialists, are committed to reducing barriers to accessing timely, high quality specialty care for patients across the country and consistently delivering excellence for our hospital and clinic partners.
