Access TeleCare was recently featured in D Magazine examining the company’s continued growth and strategic repositioning as a clinical services company powered by technology.
The article features insights from Chris Gallagher, M.D., founder and chief strategy officer of Access TeleCare, who discussed how the company is helping hospitals and health systems integrate virtual specialty care into modern care delivery models.
“The request for our services, the demand for our services, has never been greater. I think it speaks to the adoption of virtual care and the role it plays. But we’re also seeing our partners develop more sophisticated in-house virtual care models that they didn’t have five years ago,” Dr. Gallagher told D Magazine.
The feature highlights Access TeleCare’s 60 percent revenue growth in 2025, the addition of more than 400 physicians and nurse practitioners, and the company’s continued expansion across clinical service lines.
The article also underscores Access TeleCare’s national reach and continued focus on medically underserved communities. Access TeleCare now reaches more than 216 million people, about 65 percent of the U.S. population, with 84 percent of patients coming from medically underserved populations. Since its founding in 2004, Access TeleCare has launched more than 2,600 telemedicine programs.
As hospitals continue to experience physician shortages, growing demand for specialty care, and pressure to strengthen care access close to home, Access TeleCare remains focused on building integrated, scalable clinical programs that support onsite teams and improve patient access to timely specialty expertise.
