At Access TeleCare, we believe that every community should have access to high-quality medical expertise. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee to expand the availability of infectious disease care through our telemedicine services.

This new collaboration allows patients at CRMC — no matter their diagnosis or what time of day they need care — to have rapid access to board-certified infectious disease specialists for complex infections such as sepsis, meningitis, cellulitis, abscesses, pneumonia, and HIV. Through high-resolution video consultations, our specialists support on-site clinicians with real-time diagnosis and treatment decisions, eliminating unnecessary delays or transfers.

“Providing consistent, high-quality care when our patients need it is a top priority at our medical center,” said Amy Rich, chief nursing officer at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. “Telemedicine partnerships are a growing part of healthcare strategies nationwide, and we are excited to expand our telehealth services.”

Access TeleCare’s clinical and operational teams have worked closely with CRMC to ensure a seamless implementation — from workflow integration to staff training and technology support. With the telemedicine cart brought directly to the bedside, patients can remain comfortably in place while infectious disease specialists begin assessments within minutes.

“There’s no reason that someone’s zip code should determine their access to the best clinical resources,” said Chris Gallagher, M.D., CEO of Access TeleCare. “Cookeville-area residents rely on Cookeville Regional Medical Center to be there for them, no matter their health care need or challenge. With our partnership, Cookeville Regional is keeping that promise.”
