Chief Executive Officer
Joshua DeTillio is a healthcare executive with over 22 years of leadership experience in Healthcare Administration in investor-owned, public, faith-based, and non-profit healthcare companies.
Josh entered healthcare with a passion for helping people on their path to health and wellness, with a particular interest in the emergency department, where timely, high-quality care saves lives.
Josh is a true believer in the power of telemedicine and has been for a long time. As a hospital COO in 2008, he was an early adopter when he contracted with Access TeleCare (known as Specialists on Call at the time) for teleNeurology. He witnessed firsthand through his teleStroke program how patient outcomes improved significantly through faster interventions. As a result he has brought telemedicine solutions into every subsequent hospital in which he has worked and is committed to advancing telemedicine adoption and enhancing access and efficiency in hospital settings.
Prior to Access TeleCare, Josh served as Chief Operating Officer of Nutex Health (NASDAQ: NUTX), where he helped lead a fivefold improvement in earnings and doubled the revenue for the company, which operates 24 micro-hospitals across 11 states.
Throughout his career, Josh has led multiple successful turnarounds as CEO of three Florida hospitals and held leadership roles at major hospital systems such as HCA, Tenet, and CHS, where he focused on operational efficiency, growth, and performance metrics. He has a proven ability to collaborate with boards and physicians, build effective leadership teams, and foster a culture of accountability and patient-centered care.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, and a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. He is a Fellow (FACHE) with the American College of Healthcare Executives. Before his healthcare career, Josh served five years as an Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, serving in various units including time in Oklahoma, Georgia, California, and Tennessee.
