At Access TeleCare, our mission is simple but profound: bring timely, high-quality specialty care to every patient, everywhere it’s needed. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are essential to making that mission a reality. We could not do our work without them.

This National Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Week, we celebrate the remarkable contributions of our physician assistants and nurse practitioners who partner with physicians every day to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

In Access TeleCare’s programs, APPs aren’t “support staff.” They’re full partners in delivering patient care — from admission to discharge. By deploying highly qualified APPs across service lines, we help hospitals scale their programs, meet growing demand, and sustain essential services.

“Our APPs allow us to increase the breadth and scope of the care we provide,” said Pritam Ghosh, M.D., chief medical officer, Access TeleCare. “APPs and specialists work in partnership, ensuring efficiencies and the highest standard of clinical excellence.”

The foundation of Access TeleCare’s success lies in the collaboration between physicians and APPs. These relationships thrive on three principles:

  • Shared mission: APPs and physicians align around one goal — delivering excellent patient care.
  • Open communication: Our care models foster collaboration, early problem-solving, and professional growth.
  • Mutual respect: APPs and physicians trust each other’s expertise, creating a healthy work environment that benefits both teams and patients.

“Great physician-APP relationships are essential to the success of our programs,” said Lauren Ingram, MSN, MS, APRN, FNP-C, chief of advanced practice providers. “It allows us to strike the balance of autonomy and support for our APPs and deliver excellent care to patients consistently.”

For Access TeleCare, APPs aren’t just contributors — they’re mission multipliers. Their work makes it possible for hospitals to keep specialty services available, improve outcomes, and deliver the care their communities expect.

“APPs are central to how Access TeleCare fulfills its mission,” said Joshua DeTillio, CEO of Access TeleCare. “Their ability to deliver advanced clinical care virtually allows us to strengthen health systems, support physicians, and ensure patients get the care they need, when they need it.”

During APP Week, we recognize the dedication, expertise, and compassion of our Advanced Practice Providers. Their commitment to our mission allows Access TeleCare to serve hospitals nationwide and redefine what’s possible in telemedicine.

Thank you to every APP who works with us to deliver specialty care, everywhere it’s needed.
