Access TeleCare Neurology insight coming to the 2024 AAN Annual Meeting

Access TeleCare is the largest provider of teleNeurology services to hospitals in the U.S., delivering expert neurology care while also advancing neurology research to improve patient care.

From teleStroke programs delivering rapid stroke care to teleNeurosurgery consultation and teleNeurohospitalist programs that help hospitals treat more patients locally, Access TeleCare’s neurology services include an array of neurological care services. For many of our hospital partners, these teleNeurology services make them the regional source for other providers whose patients require neurological care.

“Part of the reason we reached out to Access TeleCare for inpatient neurology was to build that trust with our community,” said Casey Willis, chief operating officer, National Park Medical Center (Hot Springs). “We serve a wide area and we want to accept transfers from smaller facilities that don’t have that care.”

Additionally, our neurology experts also maintain a commitment to advancing vital neurology research aimed at creating new and innovative ways to care for the patients we serve. Access TeleCare neurologist, Amrou Sarraj, M.D., recently published research that makes the case for expanding patient eligibility for EVT treatments to improve clinical outcomes for patients experiencing an ischemic stroke.
