While the federal government faces a shutdown, our mission at Access TeleCare remains unchanged: patients and hospitals can count on us.
We want to be clear that we are not stopping. Our clinicians will continue delivering high-quality specialty care, supporting hospitals, and ensuring patients receive timely treatment in their own communities.
The uncertainty surrounding telehealth flexibilities makes moments like these even more urgent. Access TeleCare and our telemedicine advocacy partners continue to work with members of Congress as they craft a federal budget to include permanent telehealth policy. We believe it’s time to move beyond temporary extensions. Telehealth isn’t a stopgap measure, it’s a proven, essential part of modern healthcare.
Until that happens, Access TeleCare will keep doing what we’ve always done: being there for patients, supporting hospitals, and demonstrating that telehealth is healthcare.
