About the Role:

Access TeleCare is seeking dedicated, board-certified Infectious Disease Physicians to be part of a cutting-edge team delivering high-acuity, high-complexity inpatient care through a robust telemedicine platform. This is a unique opportunity to transform how infectious diseases are managed—at scale and remotely.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
  • Active medical license in New Mexico and/or Arizona preferred
  • Completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage complex bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections
  • Reduce unnecessary patient transfers while increasing hospital census
  • Support both on-site and remote providers in handling high-complexity cases

Opportunity Overview:

  • Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: MST/PST time zone
  • Shift Commitment Options:
    • Minimum of 12 shifts/month (including one weekend shift)
    • Or a weekend-only shift schedule
